He is an actor, director, and writer for stage and screen, as well as a photographer, singer, and musician.

He does research with the C.N.R.S. on Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art. He is particularly interested in the Creative Process, the Phenomenology of Creation, and the link between Art and Spirituality.

He is the founder and the editor-in-chief of the journal p-e-r-f-o-r-m-a-n-c-e, journal of art research and creation on Performing and Visual Arts.
