Yin-Lun J. Chan is a landscape architect and historian, and is part of the Centre for Community Cultural Development based in Hong Kong.

He obtained his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia.

His research focuses on community design, urban cultural landscapes, and the histories of Asian port cities.
