Rhonda Blair
Rhonda Blair is Professor of Theatre at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Publications include The Actor, Image, and Action: Acting and Cognitive Neuroscience (2008); editing a new edition of Richard Boleslavsky’s Acting: The First Six Lessons (2010); co-editing, with Amy Cook, Theatre, Performance, and Cognition: Languages, Bodies, and Ecologies (2015); articles in the Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, TDR: The Drama Review, and Theatre Topics; essays in Performance and Cognition: Theatre Studies after the Cognitive Turn, and the forthcoming Affective Performance and Cognitive Science: Body, Brain and Being, among others.
She directs and creates performances pieces.
She was president of the American Society for Theatre Research, 2009-2012.
